about

Part 1 of the TRAUN music project from Dave Murray (Estradasphere). The pieces are precise, concept-based, diverse and multi-genre. The music 'tells' a story and the album is intended to be listened to chronologically.

NOTE — If you are familiar with the 2003 release (The Deserts of Traun: Part III The Lilac Moon ), you will hear a few revised arrangements of pieces from that album. It was important to include those pieces to complete the story/musical concept, and have the production match throughout.

The 2017 release is being replaced by this re-ordered re-issue. I decided to include the previously extracted tracks that were on the 4th album from 2017 called "Deleted Scenes". The story pieces can now be followed chronologically with the music.
